I love when I come across house music that I know is unique and purely about the experience of the track. Simple tunes, fascinating synths, tracks that just make you dance without having to try to hard. Fools Gold Records, confounding by A-Trak, is a record label out of Brooklyn, NY. They’ve started a free monthly mix tape filled with house tracks by Fools Gold Members and friends for you to enjoy. I love the unique sound on most of these tracks. They sound nothing like a lot of the progressive stuff that is being put through the copier and released again. Have an open mind when listening to these tracks. This is house. This is electro.
