My interest in house music in the past couple of months has definitely changed a lot. Progressive and Electro house really just don’t appeal to me as much anymore. Having said that, it’s made me take an open mind to different styles of house, particularly tech, deep, disco and funk house. This new track, which a buddy of mine brought to to my attention, is by the duo Solidisco from NYC. It is an absolutely dirty Disco House remix of Daft Punk’s Superheroes. I love this song. So much funk and groove going on here. Whatever you wish to call this style, it kicks ass and thats basically all that matters. No need to jump and pump fists, just dance and groove to this chooon.
