Matisyahu is back with the acoustic session of his latest album “Spark Seeker”. Essentially a much more chilled out version with a much more intimate feel. The raw feel of these tracks have an incredible relaxing effect. I have a feeling this is going to be one of my favorite EP’s coming out during the winter months. Definitely grab this when it drops tomorrow.
It’s been way too long since I last checked up on my favorite mashup artists. The duo from Chicago has already dropped one insane party starting track and one super chill track in 2013.
The first, “Go!” is a bit different than the traditional mashups the Pandas usually produce. Instead, they give us a bootleg that features the vocals from NeYo’s “Let’s Go,” the beautiful build up from Chuckie and Promise Land’s “Breaking Up,” and finally the nasty electro drop from Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky Tunes collab “Here We Go.” All three combine to form a rager trifecta. Keep this one in your arsenal for that next pregame.
The second is a chilled out mashup that combines the Kendrick Lamar hit “Swimming Pools (Drank)” with Pierce Fulton’s “West Egg.” The result is a great cure for a Sunday hangover. Enjoy.

Now I know this is not the newest to most people who have already heard the leak when that came out about a month ago. We did not even bother posting the leak because the quality of the leak was horrible. Skrillex has officially released “Wild For The Night” which he works with rapper A$AP Rocky and OWSLA’s own Birdy Nam Nam. I don’t really listen to rap like I used to so I don’t have much to say about A$AP’s lyrics, however the beat put together by Skrillex and Birdy Nam Nam is nothing short of insane. Candyland should never be categorized as producing a specific genre. He has a hand in many different areas of sound in dance music and does a damn good job with them too. Trap, Dubstep, Electro, and now “Big Room Hip-Hop” here with his remix to So Beautiful by Parker. I honestly don’t even know what I would even call this track. I listen to it and I enjoy when it sounds like and thats what should matter with a song. Candyland went different on this one and did a real nice job. Grab the free download! Enjoy!
We are used to Tree J Woods giving us quality remixes, mashups and edits to many big house and trance tracks, but who says a producer needs to be limited in all explorations of production? Tree J is back with a very original/unique hiphop type beat sampling Rihanna’s Diamonds. Im not usually into hip hop beats, but since the rise of trap and “big room” hip hop, I’ve definitely found some respect for different sounds.
