Flaxo – Riddim (Original Mix)

Flaxo at it again with another naaaaaasty track titled Riddim. I sincerely hope he gets the recognition he deserves and gets seen by some big names (Mad Decent don’t sleep on him) cause he’s been tearing up his bootlegs/remixes/originals and can only keep going forward. Check out the track below and cop the free download as always.

Emeli Sandé – Next To Me (Basic Physics Remix)

Well. It’s taken faaaar to long to jump on the Basic Physics bandwagon for me and I apologize for that, cause they’ve been laying down some massive choons for a while. We’ve got this remix of Emeli Sandé – Next To Me that you’ve got to hear. Starting off with a more melodic progressive section, it leads right into a gritty synthy electro drop. I’m a huge fan, so check it out for yourself below and they’ve offered it for free download!

Cam Meekins – “Judge”

safe_image.php

Today marks a very important day in Cam Meekins career as an artist, where he is attempting to sell an album instead of only doing free mixtapes. His single “Judge” is now available on iTunes, which will be the single off of his debut album Lamp City due out May 21st. He is taking the leap everyone needs to take to get to that next level, and has tons of support, being in the top 25 for album sales in the hip-hop/rap section of iTunes…just off of preorders.

Being somewhat of a hero for some, Cam has been very open and honest in some of his tracks and how he has evolved from mixtapes like 1994 to more of a young intellectual poet rather than just a rapper that really speaks to high-school/college kids. He is really finding his way into this genre group, earning respect on the way. He has also usually done a good job with music videos. Although the budget seems to never be extravagant, each video tells a story and gives a great visuals. Especially his most recent one for “Judge” the single off of his new album. Watch the video and get the album.

Into the Past – Nero

Nero, this is just down right chilling. From the soundtrack of the movie, ‘The Great Gatsby’ staring Leonardo diCaprio as the Great Gatsby himself, this song is just as massive as the movie is projected to be. A haunting intro into a heavy electro marks the distinct concept work that goes into each track produced from the master.
