Archie, formally Archie.V and also previously believed to be Avicii and Alesso, is now back with some new tracks featuring Anna Yvette. As I previously stated about one of his other songs, all Archie was missing was some vocals to take his tracks to the next level. Well finally, the man delivers with the song No Apologies. An upbeat progressive house track, this is definitely one to take a listen to. Also, Archie decided to offer it as a free download as a thank you for getting 3,000 fans on facebook. So take a listen, like his page and show his music to your friends.
Bonus Here is another song he did with Anna Yvette called Villo
Alright so I know i’ve been slacking lately, but i hope this will make up for it. Archie’s latest track “Leto” further proves why he should become a household name in the EDM nation very, very soon. The track starts out with those light, airy synths that we’ve come to love, almost Avicii ‘esque. Then comes that heavy bass that just brings the whole track together and makes it nearly impossible to bump this track without wanting to jump with joy. Definitely a must download. Jam out and rage on my friends.
Archie.V gives us two brand new progressive house tracks, both still lacking the final ingredient in sending him onward to more success, vocals. Still, both tracks have a lot of layering and feature a good mix of random sounds that all blend together to give us a polished track. If I had the vocal abilities, I would lay down some vocals over these tracks right now. Someone please do that for me and send us the links, vocals are truly the last piece in sending Archie.V into mainstream house.
Now, I really can’t tell you much about archie.v except you are sure to be hearing more and more from this guy as the year goes on. His hype started growing last year with his song Magic is Timeless which the internet mistook for a collab track between avicii and alesso. Obviously this guy brings it with catchy beats and solid production on every track. Right now, people are mixing and mashing his beats and adding in vocals, something archie.v has yet to start doing himself. Trust me though, when he does start adding that final piece to his tracks, the man is going to blow up. So here are two new tracks that were released this week, and if you haven’t yet, check out Magic is Timeless
If you like what you hear, there is plenty more music to enjoy on archie.v’s Soundcloud
This is the first mashup that I’ve heard of Archie.V’s 2012 and I gotta say I’m feelin it. DOSVEC, who never seems to release a bad mash, uses Mylo’s Drop the Pressure and a few new songs including Calvin Harris’s Feels So Close. I’m pretty sure the title comes from the number of songs in the mashup, which as you guessed is Five. Enjoy bros. #CMB
FareOh has dropped a huge track, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it soon becomes the new EDM anthem. He takes the main beat from Archie.V’s “Magic is Timeless,” the song recently mistaken for an Avicii and Alesso power track, and amps it up a bit more. FareOh recently announced that he will be dubuting a vocal mix of the song this Saturday during the Electric Beach party at Santos House Party in NYC; CMB will be sure to keep you updated. “2012 (Twenty Twelve)” is a great start to the new year and some even say that it could very well be the next “Levels.” Enjoy!
Well well well, it looks like this was another case of internet shenanigans. As I kind of suspected, this track is not an Avicii & Alesso track, but actually a track by Archie.V called Magic is Timeless. Big ups to this guy on making an absolute banger. So people, I beg you to not discount this track because it isnt by who you thought it was, but to jam to the music because it is awesome, regardless of who made it.
As far as I know, this is a track by two of the biggest house djs in the game right now. Avicii and Alesso have joined forces to give us a straight shot of house to the face for the end of 2011. No word right now on if this is an official track or not (there have been fake avicii & alesso tracks before, for example, Night N Day which is amazing btw) but regardless, this one will be on all of my 2012 playlists. p.s I love the poor grammar in the title
