There are very few times I have ever had the desire to go to Belgium. However, after seeing some of the pictures and hearing some of the sets from this years Tomorrowland, all I wanted was to be there to experience it. Out of all of the sets that I have listened to, this one from Chuckie has to be my favorite.

Clyde Sergio Narain AKA DJ Chuckie has been DJing for years, making his name in the Dutch House scene, yet he is originally from Suriname. This set is absolutely massive. Just huge drops and great beats

Definitely worth downloading and taking a listen to if you like some good quality House

Vidda – Mango [EP]

Trey Johnson, aka Vidda (pronounced vee-dah), is a progressive and melodic house producer/DJ based in NYC. Having honed his producing skills over the past year, Vidda has recently released his first EP, titled Mango. Creativity can be found all over this project from the very start, e.g., kicking off the EP by using a sick sample of Latin Gregorian chant and giving it the proper ‘house’ treatment, complete with solid baseline. Listeners of Vidda will note a predominately progressive house sound, generally accompanied by airy synths and infused with elements of basically every subgenre of house, ranging from melodic and acid house to even electro and some of that ‘dirty dutch.’ He cites his influences as that of  Avicii, Sander van Doorn and Eric Prydz, but is still able to maintain a production style that is independent of these artists. Need I say more? Take a bite into Mango and savor the sounds of Vidda!

Drake ft. Rihanna – Take Care (Panic City Remix)

Panic City, a rising DJ from San Francisco, ups the tempo in Drake and Rihanna’s “Take Care” and fuses it with a bit of that Dutch House element, i.e., hard electro beat and high-pitch lead synths. The build-up right before the drop is somewhat reminiscent of Afrojack’s “How I Like It,” but I’m not going to argue; it works well. This dance remix is perfect for the club.

A couple months ago, Panic City also teemed up with a guy called DJ Supersede to make a killer remix of “No Beef.” Be sure to give this a listen as well.

And just when you thought I was done… speaking of “No Beef,” producer, HLM, recently released his bootleg remix of “No Beef” just in time for New Years. The free release is his way of saying ‘thank you’ to his fans for supporting him. Enjoy CMBers.
