Just like my last Olympics song post about Home by Phillip Phillips and USA Gymanstics, this is the second best song I’ve heard during the games. Coming from a BMW ad advertising its new line of cars, the song has a dubstepy feel to it, but I guess thats just the buzzing noise they use. It also has a catchy melody and I cant get it out of my head. So if other people have been looking for it, here it is

So unless you have no national pride, you are watching the Olympics right now, and if you are like me, you have definitely been watching the gymnastics as well. The other night when I was watching and they played the promo music for the US team while NBC aired some montage, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the song they played. I would have sworn it was Mumford & Sons, a band that I enjoy and respect, but my google search instead lead me to Phillip Phillips, the winner of this years American Idol competition. WTF?! But hey, the song is really really good, produced by Interscope, one of the biggest record labels out there, Home is a song that should be on everyones playlists and one that I cant wait to hear again when they air the womens all around competition tonight. So take a listen to this great folksy indie pop hit, and enjoy these uber flexible nubile teens jumping and flipping around. I know I will : ]
