Knife Party has always been one of those groups that really just puts out nothing but straight fucking bangers and their new ‘Haunted House’ EP is a testament to that. Coming right out of the gate with the massive “Power Glove” track, this EP already begins to enthrall you with nothing but pure bass filled energy. This is definitely a MUST listen and MUST download. Cam Meekins – “Judge”

safe_image.php

Today marks a very important day in Cam Meekins career as an artist, where he is attempting to sell an album instead of only doing free mixtapes. His single “Judge” is now available on iTunes, which will be the single off of his debut album Lamp City due out May 21st. He is taking the leap everyone needs to take to get to that next level, and has tons of support, being in the top 25 for album sales in the hip-hop/rap section of iTunes…just off of preorders.

Being somewhat of a hero for some, Cam has been very open and honest in some of his tracks and how he has evolved from mixtapes like 1994 to more of a young intellectual poet rather than just a rapper that really speaks to high-school/college kids. He is really finding his way into this genre group, earning respect on the way. He has also usually done a good job with music videos. Although the budget seems to never be extravagant, each video tells a story and gives a great visuals. Especially his most recent one for “Judge” the single off of his new album. Watch the video and get the album.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – Thrift Shop ft Wanz

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are back with the second single of of the upcoming album The Heist, and let me tell you, this song is dope. Now some people might not appreciate this song as much as I do, but I love shopping at thrift stores like Goodwill and Salvation Army. You can honestly find some of the coolest things for like 3 dollars. (Shout out to my cousin Steve for getting me into thrift store shopping) But really, this song perfectly encompasses Macklemore’s personality as it is quirky, off the wall, and not supposed to be taken seriously, just like And We Danced. Also, since I’ve been slacking all summer, here is the first single Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis put out, entitled Same Love ft Mary Lambert. Holy hell does this song have a strong but important message, and instead of saying it myself, just click the link to see Macklemores thoughts unedited

Enjoy the music everyone! Oh, and if someone in Seattle is going to the Mariners game on the 31st, snag me one of the dope Macklemore & Ryan Lewis snapbacks, pretty please!

Radical Something – Say Yes (Official Video)

So a few days ago we posted Radical Something’s new EP, No Sweat. In 24 hours it broke the top 10 albums on iTunes. I was impressed to say the least, especiallty when they released this video a day later. It’s simple, but gets the job done. Cheers to Radical Something for bringing us some new visuals to a chill song. Enjoy.

Kid Cudi & Dot Da Genius ft. Desire – “Teleport 2 Me, Jamie” [FULL]

Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius have recently released, “Teleport 2 Me, Jamie,” the second single from their upcoming WZRD album. The experimental and rock-inspired album is due for release February 28th and has already gained its fair share of both supporters and critics. I personally welcome the new album; it has a psychedelic and chillwave aspect to it that I enjoy. Let us know what you think of Cudi’s new project.  And head to Itunes if you’re looking to purchase the song.
