This is some straight naaaasty moombahton over an already track from Passion Pit called ‘Carried Away’ from the man Dillon Francis. Deeming that the track is a ‘moombahton on acid’ style to it, the groove you get from the bassline is incredible, with a driving steady snare in the background, I can get down to this all day long! Check it out for yourself below!
If you haven’t heard of New Jersey trio Cash Cash yet, you need to right now. The group’s older works remind me a lot of Forever the Sickest Kids, but recently they’ve turned more towards the EDM production scene and WOW. These guys know what they’re doing. From moombahton to electro-house to drum and bass, legitimately every one of their tracks is an absolute banger.
One of my favorites, “Overtime” is such a feel good moombah party anthem. Uplifting melodies and electric vocals take you to a whole new level. Very reminiscent of some dance music greats…Listen to this massive track and check out some other productions on their Soundcloud! You definitely won’t regret it.
Word on the street is that Cash Cash will be working on a collaboration with Krewella very soon so you’ll want to keep an eye on them for sure. Check them out on Facebook and Twitter as well!
Submitted to us recently was a sensational electro-moombahton style track from Vonzie, DJ/Producer from the Upper Westside of NYC. He’s decided to sample sounds from Aaliyah, Dillon Francis, and Mord Fustang. It definitely has its own unique quality that I enjoy, similar sounding to something like Bootleg Fireworks! Check it out for yourself and grab a download to keep.
To celebrate the birth of America, PuRE productions brought Nadastrom to Recess Lounge in Philadelphia and it was quite a show! It started off with DJs Aire Atlantica, Tega and Jansen then around midnight the DJ duo Nadastrom, composed of Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom, took over the DJ booth and Recess lounge got crazy

Now if you dont know already, Dave Nada is considered the creator of Moombahton and it showed that night. He played an array of tracks from hip hop to dubstep with that moombahton vibe throughout. Such a different set then what most DJs would play and they killed it. CMB was in the booth with Nadastrom and it was obvious the amount of talent the two have. They really knew how to get the place bumpin. The energy in Recess Lounge was high and even higher when the bubbles were blasting and the dancers were dancing.
Be on the lookout for upcoming events put on by PuRE productions: this was their first event and there is much more to come this year. Especially if you are in the Philadelphia area, be sure to check back with CMB about any upcoming shows.
Presented by PuRE productions, Nadastrom will be spinning at Recess Lounge in Philadelphia on Tuesday July 3rd a.k.a TOMORROW night! Wednesday is the 4th of July and what better way to bring in the the independence of America then to get you Moombahton on with the duo group, Nadastrom!
For those of you who don’t know who Nadastrom are, they are a DJ/Producer Duo composed of Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom. Nada is the inventor of the Moombahton genre and the two of these guys together produce some pretty wild tunes. They hail from Washington D.C and are bringing a lot to the table for the EDM world to check out. So tomorrow night CMB will be at recess lounge and so should you!

So yeah, Catchmybass is kind of a spastic site, obviously our previous weekly feature moombah mondays died, so now its moobah whenever, so hooray for friday, and get ready for a sweet moombah remix from Dillon Francis. The man took Flux Pavilions Daydreamer, worked his magic, and presto, you get this. so check it out and enjoy the rest of the start of the weekend
I know nothing about moombahton but what I do know is that this is a sick remix of Chiddy Bang’s new single “Ray Charles”. Ty normally handles moombahton monday and its possible that he has something up his sleeve for tonight, but if not, hopefully this will satisfy your craving for awhile. If you are ignorant like me, here is the wikipedia entry for moombahton
and if you haven’t already peeped the visuals for Ray Charles, check them out here
(the visuals include the guys playing multiple roles such as Ray Charles and the Blues Brothers)
