Trying to find something to do to bring in the New Years but not trying to drop over $100 on one night? Well bring in the New Year with Pure Productions, Cult Classic Goods & Actual Records and not go broke! This event is showcasing some of the best underground raw talent Philadelphia has to offer. Located at the newest venue, Verre, this night is sure to end with a bang. CMB was at Verre for the Zeds Dead After Party and it probably was one of my top nights in Philly of 2012. I have been assured that this event is going to be of epic proportions, so get your ticket now and if your 21, your crazy for not getting the insanely cheap open bar. Oh and the best part is we’ll be going hard till 6am.
Last Thursday Audrey Napoleon took the DJ booth at Lit Ultra Bar to put on a wild set. Now Pete Tong was the main headlining DJ, but CMB was there to see Audrey. Last time we posted about her was when we interviewed her while she was on the Identity Festival tour. She has come along way since this past summer from just being an early day festival act to touring with the legendary Pete Tong. At Lit it was evident that she knows how to get a place going. People may still be just getting wind of her, but at Lit everyone was dancing out to here techy pop house beats.
Not only was her set amazing, but her stage presence really stood out to me. With her long black hair, almost ghost white complexion giving her this almost gothic goddess persona and the energy she had on stage, it made her set that much more intense. Now if you don’t already follow Audrey on Twitter, she has been talking a lot about fashion and even hinted to us over the summer that she is planning on starting her own clothing line, which she wasn’t kidding about. She is releasing her own collection with The Robnik Brand today actually in NYC. So be sure to stay on the look out of any new fashion Audrey may be working on.
Now that her touring is finished with Pete Tong, Audrey will be gearing up for a busy New Years Eve weekend, making stops in El Paso, Texas, San Diego, CA, and Seattle, WA to end the year with a bang. She will be performing with some big names that weekend like Nero, Calvin Harris, Chris Lake, Mord Fustang, Doctor P, Nervo & Deadmau5. So if your on the West Coast or looking to fly somewhere for NYE I suggest making it to one of her shows. Last but not least if you haven’t done so already download her EP “Ornamental Egos” for FREE!
So i know I’m a little late on this, but here’s Avicii’s Live Set from his New Years performance at Pier 94. I’ve been watching videos of this show and it seems incredibly epic and I’m extremely disappointed that i wasn’t able to get tickets. Definitely a solid set packed with hits. Download and rage on my friends.
*Bonus: Arty and Cazzette’s set’s as well, pretty awesome too no lie.
This video truly highlights some of the largest dance festivals and shows in an amazing light. I know CMB is still in it’s infant days, but i hope with the help of all of you out there we can grow and find new and amazing music together in 2012. The track in the background of the video definitely definitely gives off an uplifting, feel good vibe and is an essential in any NYE playlist. Rage on CMB fans, we love each and everyone of you.
Alright so i came upon this track listening to Tiesto’s Club Life broadcast the other day and instantly fell in love with it. Plus with somebody like Tiesto backing it you know its worth a listen. Ted Nilsson takes the already beautiful track by Emeli Sande and morphs it into a deep/progressive house anthem. Once the bass drops it bumps hard and you won’t be able to stop yourself from grooving to this one. Definitely check this out and rage on my friends.
