Early I posted about Flaxo with his nasty trap remix of Kendrick Lamar’s Swimming Pools. Well he’s at it again, and I can guarantee he will certainly be hanging around for a wild. One of the DOPEST trap bootlegs I’ve heard in a while you have to hear what he’s done to Rihanna’s Diamonds. A completely unique style to the song, masterfully layering the beats and high snares familiar with trap around the best vocals from the song and even adding some unique sampling that I wasn’t expecting. When I say a track goes hard…I mean this goes HARD. Check it out for yourself below and cop that download!
So Thomas Gold has reached 100,000 fans on Facebook, and to celebrate he has released a new bootleg of “We Found Love” by Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris, which I have said many times before, without shame, that THIS is my favorite track of 2012 and I stand by that.
People may disagree with me (and plenty do) but this track is just so perfect, and the bootleg by Thomas Gold simply adds to it. Just something to get you pumped up on this Thursday.
One of the top songs of the summer gets a black and white, fashion driven, super artistic music video for us to enjoy. I think its safe to say that this beats out the video for Mercy as best black and white music video of the summer so far. Sweet.
So I came across this talented up-and-coming DJ from Vancouver, Canada named Michael Scott that I felt needed to be shared. He began his DJing career by placing mashups of popular songs and uploading them to youtube and frankly I’ve enjoyed what I’ve heard so far from him. I hope he continues to produce quality tracks because I can see him having a bright future.

All right so I have I guess what you can call a guilty pleasure. I think I am obsessed with “We Found Love” by Rihanna. Usually I am not a fan of something so ‘Pop’ (even that is very debatable). You can ask my girlfriend, whenever this song comes on in the car, it is being played full blast while I’m singing.
We’ve had other posts about some pretty solid remixes of this song, including 3LAU’s “We Found House” EP and I have found a pretty sick cover of this song by arguably the best Cover Band out there, Boyce Avenue.
According to my research (wikipedia) as of March 2010 Boyce Avenue is the 2nd-most searched band on Youtube, behind Linkin Park. The band is comprised of 3 brothers (Alejandro, Daniel and Fabian Manzano) who although they do original stuff, are really known for their covers. They literally cover everything. I personally have 64 songs by them on my iTunes and all are really good covers.
Check out the video of them performing it:
Now this video has like 13 million views so it’s like I’m the first to hear about this. It’s just a really phenomenal cover that I wanted to share with you all. In case you don’t want to youtube to mp3 it yourself, I did it for you
P.S. If you have not seen the official video for Rihanna’s we found love you are missing out on what I think is one of the best music videos I’ve ever seen, and with 121 million views I guess I’m not the only one. Take a look:
If a track is lingering on the top of the charts for a considerable amount of time, expect Flo-Rida to remix it. Was it necessary to provide his rendition of Rihanna’s We Found Love? Absolutely not. But Flo-Rida is Kind Midas when it comes to club bangers so i’m sure this song will be no different. Enjoy.
Earlier this week, 3LAU (pronounced “Blau”) released his We Found House EP. Aptly describing the genre of his EP as “dance floor filth,” 3LAU successfully produces three variations of the song “We Found Love” by Rihanna and Calvin Harris. Check out the tracks below and let us know which one on the EP is your favorite. The full EP download is located after the song previews.
