Logic – Numbers

One of the many reasons why I love listening to a new Logic track is because I cannot wait to see what song he has cleverly chosen to sample next. “Numbers” features Logic rapping over an excellent sample of the song “Decode” by the band Paramore. Despite the fact that Logic is quickly categorized into ‘college/frat rap,’ any listener can easily see that he is much more than that. For those of you who have yet to check out his sophomore mixtape, Young Sinatra, you can find and download it from here. He and the #Rattpack are quickly gaining ground and it is great to see a talented artist actually get the recognition he deserves.

Logic – The Spotlight (Official Video)

Logic dropped a new song and video over Justice’s “D.A.N.C.E.”. I like Logic, he always seems to be having a great time and it is really shows in his music. He brings high energy, solid bars, and catchy beats to the table and ‘The Spotlight’ is no exception.

Logic – Live On The Air (Flava In Your Ear Freestyle)

Logic has been making some noise in the underground hip-hop community and is quickly gaining broader recognition. His verses are fire and his flow is sick. In the freestyle shown below, he raps over “Flava in Your Ear” on a UMD radio show hosted by DJ Boss Player. About a month ago Logic released his sophomore mixtape, Young Sinatra, which can be downloaded here. Give him a listen if you haven’t yet.
